Redefining Reality

Overview

The "Redefining Reality" exhibition showcases the large-scale public art installation Resonance-In-Sight co-created by local artists Kristof Crolla and Garvin Goepel, with the intention to soften the boundaries between virtual reality and physical reality. The two appealing linear sculptures open the dialogue with one another and the Hong Kong Museum of Art (HKMoA) through augmented reality (AR) technology.

The art installation consists of both a physical and a virtual component. With the tailor-made AR application, visitors can interact with the special selection of HKMoA's four core collections. The collections are presented in extraordinary forms connecting the resonating sculptures. Using the 4 Instagram (IG) Filters, visitors can immerse themselves into the Resonance-In-Sight in multiple perspectives. We hope this exhibition will inspire you to enjoy interactive elements spanning art, design, technology, and communication. You are welcome to visit and experience 16 AR artworks (4 Phases) at the Best Viewing Spots at Art Square.
